Hello my friends! Up for sale is my Pearl Black 2004 BMW R1200C ABS Montauk Cruiser. Always Garaged – Never Wet! Clear Title in my possession. This bike is a fully loaded with lots of chrome and other various upgrades; it is in mint condition. I am selling it "as is" with no warranty. please note: there is a small scuff mark on one of the bags that you can see in the picture. Low mileage – 2915 actual mileage (as of this writing) 9/28/2010. After market UPGRADES included with the sale are: Hard leather saddle bags ($1274.95) Halogen Driving Lights and additional “strobe” tail light ($929.93) Corbin touring seat - dual backrest, passenger backrest with trunk (appr. $1000) Larger windshield Also included with the winning bid are the factory seat and factory windshield, which are in perfect condition. AND Wikipedia says: “When BMW ended production of the R1200C lineup, Dr. Herbert Diess, (then) President BMW Motorrad cited a prime reason for the bike's discontinuance as the apparent unsuitability of the 1,170 cc (71 cu in), 61 hp (45 kW) engine to then current market tastes and the unavailability of a suitable available engine for further development, but did not rule out BMW pursuing a reinterpretation of the cruiser idea at a later date.[1] The final model of the R1200C to be produced was the commemorative Montauk model, of which 350 examples were built.” GOOD LUCK and HAPPY BIDDING
