Up for auction we have a 1965 Chevy Impala 2 door hardtop. This car was originally equipped with a 283 and a 3 speed on the column. Car now has a '70's 454 and a Powerglide. Operating condition on both are unknown. For bidding purposes, consider them rebuildable cores. Has a 10 bolt rear with unknown ratio gears. Car has been indoors for the last 15 years. Has a clean and clear Kansas title. This car has had a new 3 piece trunk floor installed and a passenger side floorpan. Floors are 99% solid! New quarter patches have been installed. Rust was minimal, had some bubbling around the wheel arches and quarter sized holes behind rear wheels. By no means was this car rotten! There is rust present in the lower corners of the front fenders. Window channels appear solid. Glass is good, windshield is milky. Car will need a complete interior refurbish. Have the front and rear seats, they will need to be recovered. Front bumper is nice, rear needs a passenger side section. Hood, trunk, grille and roof are nice. The car is super straight and solid. None of the finish body work has been started yet. If you have been in the market for a good dry solid car than look no further! This car will be a nice project with no surprises. Car is still wearing its' original paint, so there is nothing to hide. Solid cars are getting harder to find.
