I AM SELLING MY 2+2 1968 FASTBACK MUSTANG, THIS CAR FOR ME WAS GOING TO BE AN ELEANOR CLONE.I HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED THE ELEANOR/SHELBY TAIL LIGHT PANEL. THIS CAR IS A #,s MATCHING 289 CAR IN PRIMER AND WITH RESTORED BLACK INTERIOR THAT IS ALL THERE BUT THE HEAD LINER. I HAVE DONE ALL OF THE HARD WORK SUCH AS NEW QUARTER PANELS, ROCKERS, FLOOR PANS,TRUNK FLOOR CROSSMEMBER, TRUNK FLOORS, REAR FRAME RAILS TO TUNEL, TORQUE BOX TOFLOOR PAIN FRANE RAILS, FRONT OUTER FRAME RAIL PATCHES, ALL FOUR INNER FENDER APRONS, OUTER COWEL PANELS, OUTER FIREWALL PATCH PANELS, DOOR SKINS. I HAVE REINSTALLED MOTOR BUT IS NOT RUNNING( MOTOR RAN WHEN I REMOVED 2-20-10, I HAVE NEWER HEADS FOR MOTOR TO REPLACE OLD HEADS THAT REQUIRE LEAD ADDITIVE. ALSO HAVE NEW TORQUE CONVERTER. I HAVE REBUILT THE FACTORY REAREND AND INSTALLED NEW BUSHINGS. ALL OF THE GLASS AND TRIM HERE AND GOOD. THERE IS NO RUST LEFT ON THIS CAR. AMOST EVERYTHING IS HERE AND CAR IS ABOUT READY TO GO TO PAINT. On Sep-28-10 at 06:12:40 PDT, seller added the following information: i have been geting alot of questions about just painting the car and driving it. this car is still a project,there is some fit and finish work left to do, rust under decklid and hood lips, still has original fenders whitch have just been primered and still has 42 year old front suspension under it that will need to be replaced.the motor ran but is still 42 years old also. just to be clear this is not a finished car just close and the harder things are done
