1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible. I owner vehicle (untill I purchased it a few years back). California car, purchased new from Beverly Hills Lincoln in 66. Still retains it's original black and yellow licence plates and dealer frames. Registration is current, title is clear. Original owner had the engine 462 completely overhauled as well as the transmission about 10 years ago. Starter, altenator, fuel pump, water pump, radiator etc was all rebuilt or replaced at that time. Runs real good, no leaks, no knocks, no smoke, just smooth, quiet and powerful! Probably could use a tune up, just due to the age, but fine as is. Body is real straight and rust free. There are some chips, scratches and small door dings, nothing too bad. Paint is old and a bit dull. Basically needs to be repainted. Chrome and stainless all mostly in good presentable or better condition. Doors all open and shut nicely. Interior is mostly all original and nice. Seats were recovered, useing the original pattern. Still has the original carpet and its very decent! Most of the power accessories work. I had 2 of the window lift motors replaced. Rear a litttle slow. Power antenna and radio even work! but, the speaker is bad. Clock still ticks, most of the courtesy lighting, turn signals, headlights, dash lights etc etc all work. Car has AC, pump and clutch and lines all look good but, does not turn on. May need work with the switch. Power top, there is no canvas, just the frame work. I was going to replace it but figured, the car is kept in the garage anyway, and the top would be in the down position. I had the top electrics all gone through a couple of years ago so they should all work. Cost me $1600 in repairs. Hydrolics are a little bit slow now, probably needs fluid. You may have to have all that serviced again when you have the top installed. But it all works! Spare tire and jack in trunk also. I need the garage space, I have very little time for it, so the car should go. RESERVE IS LOW but, please refrain from asking what it is. Car is over 40 years old, used hence NO WARRANTY. This vehicle is in good condition but, may require cosmetic (or other aspects) restoration. Sold AS-IS, WHERE IS. You send the transporter and I will assist on this end.
