We were able to get a great deal on it and now we can pass that on to you! We have had this Elantra at the mechanic and it passed the VA State Safety inspection with no problems, nor could our mechanic find anything else on it that needed to be fixed. First Impressions: When I first saw this car I was not impressed. On closer inspection I realized that it has everything in it that you could want for a sedan: All power options including a sunroof, CD player and Automatic transmission. And this Hyundai drives much better than it should. The ride is very smooth and feels like I should be riding in a luxury sedan. It handles well and is easy to manuever. With the black Exterior, many flaws are not nearly as noticeable as they should be. The Exterior could use some love, but overall the general condition of this Sedan is what I would expect. Interior: This interior of this Hyundai has everything in it that you clould want for a mid sized sedan. There are power options, sunroof and premium sport cloth gray patterned seating. The front bucket seats are multi adjustable. They are comfortable to ride in as well. I do notice some light staining on these seats. From the driver’s seat you have access to all this Hyundai has to offer. The guage panel has all the standard guages to include a digital odometer. The crise control is located on the steering column here. The steering wheel has some very minor wear. There is also a small cubby/change holder to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. There are remote releases for the spacious cargo/trunk and gas tank. The driver side door houses the controls for the power windows and door locks and mirrors. There is also a large bin on the driver door for more storage. The dash is a dark gray color as are the carpets, which I notice has some staining. The center dash houses lots of cool things. There is the CD player and Tuner. The tuner is digital which makes it som much easier to adjust. There is also a digital clock just above it. The climate control is below the audio system. The AC is super cold and cools the car down with no problems. Just below the center dash is an ashtray and lighter element. This is great for charging cell phones. There is also another cubby hold for storage. It is lined with rubber to prevent things from sliding around. In between the seats you also have 2 sturdy built in cupholders along with the gear shifter. There is also a padded armrest with storage under neath. The passenger side seat is just as comfortable as the driver side seat. There is glove box with owner’s manual in here as well. Overhead you will find the fully powered sunroof with sunsahde. You can just let the light in or open the roof for venting or breeze. The control for this is here as well as reading lights. Easch side also has a vanity mirror. The rear seat offers seating for 3 more adults. The same patterned sport cloth is back here as well. I dod notice some staining back here ase well. The back seat is equipped with 3 shoulder belts and two headrests. The seat back here is 70/30 split, you can fold down the seats and have more customizeable room for storage. The trunk is large enough to hold everything you may need. There is a donut spare recessed under the floor of the trunk. Overall the condition of the interior of this sedan is what I would expect for the years and mileage. While there is some visible wear and tear, for example the staining on seating and carpets and very minor nicks. It is fully functional and ready to go. Everything works exactly as it should, and the car actually drives better than it looks. Exterior: The exterior of this Elantra is a classic Black Clearcoat. There are touches of Chrome in the badging and a nice pinstripe down the side. The mirrors, door handles and bumpers are all the same black for a consistent look. You will also notice lower side body moldings to add a bit of dimension. The windows are all power and controlled from inside the cabin. The rear view is simple and uncluttered with minimum badging. You will notice some scuffing and scratches back here and what appears to be a place where someone backed in to the bumper and left license plate screw indentions. There is some scratching on the hood of the trunk as well. The front view of this Hyundai has some detail. The lower grill is black to matche the car as is the bumper here. With a touch of chrome around the grill, there is some pizazz here. I do notice some scratching on the hood of here as well as some road rash and other wear and tear, there is also some oxidation on the windshield wiper. The 195/60/r15 tires have plenty of tread left on them. The factory wheel covers do have some chipping on them. There are also front and rear mudflaps and a stationary antennea. Overall the exteriro of this Hyundai could use some love. There are door dings, scratches and scuffs on the body. Nothing huge, buy many small ones. We have priced this car accordingly and it makes for a great deal for someone. Again, this sedan drives better and operates better than it should (which is the important part), it just needs a little love on the outside. Under the Hood: The 2.0L 4 cylinder engine is a gas sipper. It operates and sounds better than it should with the age and mileage. The transmission shifts like it should and the brakes and other safety features are all in good working order. This Sedan just passed the rigorous VA State Safety Inspection with no problems. Driving Impressions: Driving this Hyundai actually feels like you are driving a very nice sedan. The suspension is very smooth and the handling is great. The mechanics of this sedan are in fantastic working order, there are just some small cosmetic things.
