1948 Dodge Pick-Up 5-Window SWB Project. This is a very nice old truck, still has original seat. It has been in primer for several years. Very solid slick body, Runs great. Now has 12 volt system. Charges well, starts right up. New Fuel Pump, rebuilt carb. I do have original gas tank. Before I got this truck original owner had sent bed to get blasted, somehow some heavy equipment got on it and damaged it badly. I have found several beds but they were in rough shape or several hundred miles away.. I thought there might be someone out there that wanted a nice truck that maybe had a bed or knew where one was. If I don't sell it, I am sure I will find one sooner or later. It's fun to drive, runs great, shifts smooth, stops.. Just a neat old truck, easy restoration back to original. It would probably look sharp with a flat bed, but i just love the original beds with the fat fenders. This is a very slick, almost 60 year old truck. I am not going to say that it's 100% rust free, because it's had minor floor pan repair. This is a way better than average truck, but I don't want to mislead anyone, It's not perfect. I am sure there is a better one out there somewhere. This truck has never been titled. This state was not a title state back then. some states don't require titles on older vehicles. I will provide notarized Bill Of Sale. If you purchase truck and have trouble titling in your state, I will apply for the title, this will cost the buyer $135.00, and it takes about 8 weeks to process.. I got a title on an old car a few months ago at my expense and buyer said his state didn't require titles on pre. 80's cars, so no need to waste money if not needed, but please know I am selling truck with Bill of Sale only. Must be paid for in full within 7-days end of auction. Getting title will be a separate deal., I just don't want any misunderstandings. I will do what I say.
