Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 2007 Red and Silver BMW R1200S What can I say. I've owned a ton of bikes over the years and this by far has been my favorite. Unfortuntely I been bitten by the track bug and can no longer give the bike the attention that it needs. This past summer it has barely moved out of my garage. I'm a BMW fanatic and this is my second boxer. It offers a blend of touring and sport that in my opinion can't be matched. Although the bike has never been raced it has seen track days and with the bags has taken my and my girl on some long rides. It has been well cared for and it shows, it has never been dropped in any way and has no scratches or marks to speak of. It recentry has had the valves adjusted and has new Metzeler M5's with less than 600 miles on them. I change the oil regularly and the bike (if purchased in the near future) will come with an extra air and oil filter. I orginaly purchased the motorcycle out of FL and it was delivered with Laser cans. I also have a brand new (never run) OEM pipe which will come with the bike. I have since installed the tinted windsreen along with the rear seat cowl, BMW expandable hard saddlebags and head protectors. This bike has easily over 2,500.00 in accessories alone. This bike has the 5.5" rear which runs a 180 section tire along with the base Showa suspension. It also has heated hand grips and ABS. The only nick I can think of is in the can from where the saddle bag rails pinch the Laser can slightly, it's never bother me but it's nothing a new Laser sticker won't cover or you can always switch back to the OEM pipe. I can take pictures for those who are interested. Other than that what can I say...the bike is in perfect condition and in need of 0 maintenance. It can give fits to all but the best sport bike riders at the track and tour the whole weekend in comfort. Oh, and for Quebec riders it's not affected by the ridiculous cost of the plates..since it's considered a standard. Thanks for looking and I'll be happy to answer any other questions which I have most likely forgotton to cover. * I also have the clear windscreen and passenger seat along with 2 sets of keys for the bags and the owners manual and small tool kit.
