Original and nice 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. This is a two-owner car from new with current ownership since the late 1970's. It is a lovely and rust free original car that has been well maintained by two caring owners. I have personally driven this car over 100 miles in the last 60 days and can attest to the excellent running and handling. Exterior: Original white paint with some respray in the correct color as well. Some chips and scratches throughout. Minor surface rust only in two or three areas on the paint. There are absolutely no rust bubbles or repairs on the car. The sheet metal is totally original stamped at the Cadillac factory in 1960. There is no bondo anywhere on the car either. The fenders and rockers are excellent rock-solid originals as well. The chrome and trim are in excellent shape completely hiding the true age of this car. There are no dents or dings on the trim at all, there is no rust or major pitting anywhere as well. The front and rear grills are in incredible original condition. The side trim is all there and also in excellent condition requiring only a polishing now and again to appear as new. The top is a replacement top (white) which works perfectly. It goes up and down in about ten seconds (each way). The correct factory fiberglass boot inserts are complete and included in the sale. The top bows are excellent original as is virtually everything else about the exterior of this car. It has original deluxe wheel covers and correct replacement tires as well. It has the original factory power trunk release as well. The interior is a marvelous original as well. The original black leather still is present on virtually every seating surface. There are age cracks but little to no tears anywhere. The dash pad is all original and shows some waves and a crack down the middle. All of the instruments are in excellent original condition and everything works including the air conditioning and the original power antenna. The power seat works correctly as well moving both forward and back and up and down as originally intended from the factory. The power vacuum emergency brake still releases correctly. All of the gauges and instruments work correctly as well. The fuel gauge is finicky registering full until the car is close to empty. The glass is all original and excellent. The power windows work perfectly. The car is equipped with seatbelts and cruises comfortably with six people in it. The engine and transmission are original as well. The engine runs fantastic with strong compression in all cylinders. The transmission shifts perfectly through all gears. The suspension is in good order providing good handling and excellent feedback for the driver. The brakes have been regularly serviced and work as they should. The air ride suspension has been removed from the car. Overall, this is an outstanding original car that probably should not be restored. It is an original car and is ready to carry its next owner in the same glamor and style which which it has traveled for the last 50 years.
