Up for sale 1972 VW Karmann Ghia conv. I am listing this car for my dad, he has had it about 3yrs and it has always been garaged, hasnt sat outside since he has owned it. This car has a fairly new top that hasnt been up since he has owned it, it hasnt seen rain either, but the top still looks good and closes good. The windows could probably be tweaked a little to get a good seal, he never did anything with them. There is nothing wrong that they dont seal, no sagging doors and it is the right windows, just need adjusted a little. The engine compartment look great and has a ton of aftermarket parts. Its been updated with twin 2-barrel IDF weber carbs that were recently taken apart and cleaned and rejeted for the car. Dad has been a mechanic and has owned his own business for 30years and drag raced for 20 so he does have some experience building carbs. It has also been updated with an electronic ignition and a great sounding exhaust The interior in in good shape and still has the back seat with seat belts and has original back glass. It has black seats, carpet and dash. It also has a scat shifter. The tires are great all the way around and has a spare that is the same rim as the rest. The body and paint look good but have a couple flaws up close. There is a small rust spot over the left rear tire (I have included a pic). There is also a small knick and a small ding by the right headlight (I have included pics of both), the ding is very small and unless I told you, you would probably never notice but its there. Those are the worst things on the car but im sure there are other small knicks and scratches for just being driven. The odometer reads just over 4,000miles but it was replaced or reset when the engine was rebuilt so its not actual for the car. This car has always been garaged and covered for the winter, and was very well taken care of but must sell due to illness. It is for sale locally and have had a ton of interest so I have the right to end early if it sells.
