1974 International Harvester Travelall ~The Original SUV~ Click on photos to SUPERSIZE! Here is an olive green, 1974, International Harvester Travelall. One of the very first "SUV" type trucks. With this vehicle there's some good news and some bad news. Good news: the vehicle runs and drives. Bad news: the vehicle won't stay running unless you keep giving it gas. The vehicle dies on idle. Good news: new Holley carburetor on a 400 small block. Bad news: the truck . . . won't stay running unless you keep giving it gas. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know why this happens. Good news: many of the body parts are in good shape, the chrome is all in good shape, the windows are all intact and the interior is in good shape. Bad news: the frame is rusted and there is some rust along the lower body (frame rails?). The vehicle has 161,000 miles, it is 2-wheel drive, with an automatic transmission, there is no AC, it has a clear title and the VIN is 4HIHODHB10328.
