A Pennsylvania man purchased it in 1973 brand new from the dealership (we still have the original window sticker). In 1977, he put the car in garage storage and did not drive it again. This owner passed away in 1999 and the car was auctioned by relatives on Ebay in 2001. In 2001, we purchased the vehicle through E-Bay motors and had the car shipped to Texas. We are the second owner. Originally, the car was intended as a sweet sixteen present but instead became a trophy car and again, was placed in a garage. The car has been in garage storage for 33 of the last 37 years. 1973 was a very special year for Ford because this was the last year of the big-body mustangs, and the final year of production for the Mach I. This car is a numbers-matching original and is complete with the original window sticker, bill of sale, and owner’s manual from 1973. 40,500 original miles. There have been only two modifications made to this car that are not original. In 2003, the brakes were changed over from drums to disks. There is also an after-market 8 track player in the car that was not original to the vehicle.
