I am offering this beautiful 1979 Mercedes 450 SL black beauty that has been part of a collection since 1981. The car has been kept in the garage for many years.The car was just recently tuned and all the fluids,belts,and hoses were replaced and is in great running and driving condition.The car only has 47,394 actual miles.The car was always from dry California and is completely stock and original.The car still has the original gloss finish alloy Mercedes wheels.This is definitely a low mile survivor that was always kept in gorgeous condition.The black paint is spectacular.When the car was not parked in the garage, it was always carefully parked away from other vehcles. The doors,trunk,and hood all close perfectly.The body is factory straight and has no sun damage anywhere.The brilliant black paint is a show stopper and is definitely the richest looking car in the crowd. Driving this car down the street is such a pleasure.The car came standard with the fuel inject V-8 motor(very reliable and trouble free).The car has all the convenient luxury power options like power windows,factory air conditioning,power antenna with working radio,power door locks,and of course,power steering and power disc brakes.The car also has both the hardtop and convertible top.This makes it great for any type of weather.The black convertible top is in wonderful condition with nice clear back windows.The hardtop is in excellent shape.The tires are fairly new.The car does have the bamboo tan text interior.Seats and door panels are in new condition.The carpets are in beautiful original condition .The trunk is totally original and has never had any rust(I know this area is very succeptible to rust).The car is in amazing condition both cosmetically and mechanically.No work is needed to drive this car to your nearest show or special event.These 31 year old gems are becoming hard to come across,especially the late model 450 SL.This is the collectible one and would make a great addition to anyone who would want a fantastic low mile Mercedes convertible that will always be a timeless classic.Would love to see this go to a good new home.I think it would make a great addition for someone who wants a very nice old and reliable SL to show off in.Low Reserve!
