1970 Honda CT

Up for auction is my 1970 Honda CT 90 Trail 90 in excellent condition. A little bit of history of this bike is this. I found this bike on ebay back in 1997, bid on it, and won the auction from a seller located in Salt Lake City Utah. The bike arrived and i found it to be in great condition for the age. My original intentions were to use this bike solely to use in the back country for deer hunting using it to transport me into the high washington cascades to get to the Monster Mule Deer Buck. As it was, that never materialized as i decided to forgo using this vintage bike for hunting and decided to restore some of the luster to the little trail 90. I replace the old with the new and removed old parts and replaced with new or used and in better condition than the original parts. I replaced all parts with oem or aftermarket parts purchased on ebay, on Dr. ATV's parts website or finding parts locally. As it was, all these years, i never really rode the bike on the road or on the trail that much as other interests came about. Recently i decided to replace the original piston with an oversized one, taking the cylinder to the local honda shop to have it honed out. I replaced the clutch pack and all associated seals and gaskets. Here is a small list of what i have replaced throughout these last 13 years. Both tires are new with less than 50 miles on them Front and rear brake shoes Handlebars Seat and Buddy Seat has been recovered including new foam Mirrors Added an axilliary gas tank and tank hanger (not factory for this year bike) with new tank and helmet lock 7 month old battery ( always on a trickle charger when bike is not used) Added a new aftermarket voltage regulator that charges the battery quicker and allows for a brighter head and tail light Added heavier duty rear shocks with springs from a later year model CT 90 ( still have the original factory rear shocks, you can have them if you want) Brand new aftermarket carburetor and fuel filter Replaced all cables and covered cables with heavy duty black vinyl All springs have been replaced ( kickstand, brake light switch, rear drum brake assembly) Gas tank, including auxilliary gas tank was cleaned out of rust and debris and lined with a quality gas tank liner All original fuel lines have been replaced Piston has been oversized +10 and cylinder honed out professionally at Issaquah I-90 Honda. New piston rings, pin and clips New clutch pack Most if not all of the chrome on this bike is in what i consider great shape with little or no rust or rust pitting. Including the wheel rims. The muffler is in good condition with one little small hole on the end about less than a 1/4 diameter. Fork lock and original key to lock the front forks New ignition key cylinder with keys The bike has been serviced throughout the years by Adrian at Shiny Side Up Motorcycle in Everett, Washington. Have all work and part purchase receipts on hand Just to let you know, i have not ridden this bike for a few months as i have had back problems, but i can tell you that it has started for me in the past on usually the second or third kick. I hate to see this bike go but i feel that someone out there would probably put this bike to better use than i have throughout these past 13 or so years. Headlight has the original large replaceable light bulb within the housing and works on both high and low beams.
