1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Numbers Matching; I'm selling one of my finest members of my personal car collection here on eBay. Original Chevelle's in this condition have become non-existent. I have lived in the NorthWest for most of my life and try to purchase most of my cars here in the NorthWest. I will branch out at times and buy a car from Califonia or Arizona to add to my collection. My '1966 Chevelle enjoyed close to 40 years in sunny Arizona before finding it's way to Oregon. This car is outstanding in every way. The term rust-free is an understatement and one glance on the underside ia all the convincing anyone would need. Body, paint, trunk and under carriage are all in excellent shape. The interior is near perfection and the car runs and drives like new. The odommeter has turned only once and has 100,410 miles that are correct. For those of you who want a longer version here it is: This car was ordered in a rare color of Artesian Turquise, paint code KK. One quality repaint of the original color since new. The paint on the car is Gorgeous, Smooth, even texture throughout with extremly high shine. A handful of tiny blemishes can be found on a close inspection but it's honest to label the paint as high quality. The original body panels, fit, gaps and alignment are excellent. The car is impressive straight as you look down the sides. No waviness of any kind. There is no evidence of any type of previous collision damage and absolutley no abuses of bondo or other body-fillers. Bumpers , chrome, stainless trim and glass are also excellent. This car has escaped the typical fate of her brothers and sisters and has remained rust-free. I cannot stress enough how exceptinal this car appearance is. A stunning car from every angle and view. Complimentary first impression are commonplace on this '66 Chevelle and hold true even after a through walk around. The interior is near perfect. Seats, door panels, headliner, carpet and dash board are beatiful. The carpet shows very slight discoloration from the limited times shoes have touched it but a simple cleaning would rectify that minor complaint. Interior trim is in excellent shape, no pitting on the chromeplated items. Every switch, knob and accessory funtions as intended. All lights, gauges, heater, wipers, horn, ect work properly. The Factory clock has stopped and the Factory AM Radio is not picking up statons. The Factory Air Conditioning is fully operational and blowing "COLD". The interior requires no excusses. Some terms are thrown around too freely. That being said, I'm still going to say that the car is mechanically perfect. It starts perfectly (warm or cold), ideles perfectly (you can not feel this car running at a red light), accelerates perfect, ect... The original numbers matching 283 - V8 funtions like new. Thw power glide transmission operates like new as well. Shifts are smooth and crisp, even the kick down for the passing gear works properley. The rear end is (church quiet). Factory power steering and power brakes. The rally wheels are correct 1967 vintage and are in mint condition. The BF Goodrich tires are new. My passion for cars has been life long and I have owned my share of classic cars and trucks, in all of that time I would have to say that my favorit car to drive would be my '66 Turquoise Chevelle hands down. The feel of this car while driving it is nothing short amazing, and the attention it brings is just plain fun. There are no rattles , squeaks, vibrations or looseness of any kind. Bumps in the road feel like you'er in a two year old vechicle. No secrets, no quirks, just turn the key clockwise , that's it and let the fun begin. The nicest running and driving car from this era anyone will ever sit behined the wheel of. This is the one car my wife is having a hard time with me wanting to sell, she loves to drive this car, maybe it's the attention thing.... My opinions are a sorce of pride and I stand behined them but please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions and they may differ from your own, I have been collecting classic cars for a long time and have sold top dollar car's and have always been truthful and upfront, my feed back will tell a story of it's own.
