Vehicle Detail

No reserve auction 1978 Ford LTD country squire, it has 68k original miles, it is all there and runs and drives. it has a decent body with no rust holes, it does have surface rust and some bubbling rust under the wood printing, and various minor dents. Mainly the surface rust is below the wood paneling ( check out pictures. ) Floor boards are solid, no holes, the trunk looks rougher than it really is because the factory paint and undercoat is pealing. The interior is in great shape, rear cargo area has scrapes and scratches from use Yes it does have the rear fold up seats. all the windows work including the tailgate, it does have rear defrost, tailgate opens both ways. also it has power locks, and dual remote mirrors it has a 460 c6 auto, starts right up and drives smoothly down the road, i have been driving it daily for the last couple weeks it has a tow package, with electronic brake controller, and it has the original electrical plug and adapter, that works, i used it to tow a high lift and everything worked. Car currently has an old set of Cragers and BF Goodrich Tires on it, i have the original wheels with tires and 1 hubcap but they are on the parts car and can be switched out if you wish, car also comes with some goodies that were in it when i bought it, included are a full set of floor mats with and original center floor console, with the unopened rubbermaid tissues in it, a clothing hanger that fits across the back seat, also comes with a NOS u joint and parking cable and various other goodies that were in the car before, Also i do have the aircleaner. the car does need some TLC. ( have most of the parts to repair ) i know the car needs a drivers side exhaust manifold gasket, (it is leaking on front cylinder, minor leak) valve covers gaskets have been seeping for a while it looks like. it needs a passenger side tie rod.(parts car) the blower doesent work, (parts car) radio works but it is hard to get to tune in 100% AC compressor clutch the bearing race is bad, it spins but rattles like crazy, (it is not hooked up currently) Needs new rear drums ( have new) water pump bearing has play ( have new in box ) As of 9/13/2010 the parts car may be sold as a rolling chassis, if it ends up sold i will remove all the interior parts listed for the country squire, and i will buy a new tierod to go with the auction. the sale of the parts car will be determined this weekend. either way the parts that the wagon need will be included If the Auction reaches 2000 US dollars i will include a 78 2 dr parts car, with a good body and title, this ltd was my daily driver up until last year. it is set up for a 460 c6, it has a 74 country squire 9 inch rear end and with wagon coils and rear air shocks. has new inner and outer tierods and sleeves, also has a radi odash trim that has been cut and has a cd player in it so you dont have to cut up the country squires it you want to add a cd player, it has all the heater controls (with rear defrost) and it has the blower. it is basically a complete car, i am pulling my engine , transmission and most underhood objects, like battery, voltage regulator and radiator etc. i may also take the seats. if it does not go for more than 2000 US dollars, you are welcome to take the dash parts (radio heater etc), yourself when upon pickup and you may swap the steering, , i must be able to steer and roll the car so i can put it on a trailer and take it to the scrap yard I have tried to describe the Country Squire to the best of my ability, The car is sold AS-IS and is pickup only, 500$ deposit required within 48 hours of auction close. my cell is 216 324 4620, if i dont answer, i will try to call you back in a timely manner, On Sep-19-10 at 19:31:57 PDT, seller added the following information:I noticed a coolant leak today, so i put the waterpump on and i also put in a new radiator, upper and lowers radiator hoses and a heater hose
