1973 Dodge D100 ClubCab pickup. Long wheel base, 318 V-8 engine, automatic transmission. ps, pb, A/C(not working). Runs good, transmission works, has some rust on fender wells, floor board and bottom of doors. Fuel evaporates from carb bowl when not run for several days, but starts easily if run everyday.(could use rebuilt carb) Engine and transmission rebuilt about 10 years ago.(175,000 miles) Engine doesn't use oil or smoke and transmission shifts good. Plates and insurance dropped about two years ago. Last inspection in 2007, everything worked. Still use off road on farm to haul hay. Mechanically fine, mainly needs to be made road worthy again, such as new tires, belts, and hoses.(rubber getting dryrotted) After this, some body work and a nice paint job will make this truck better than most are it's age. Rear seats are retractable jumper seats, not a bench. Purchased this vehicle in 1976.(second owner) Additional photos can be emailed to you upon request. Ford and Chevy trucks this age are worth 3 times as much as Dodges. But most Dodge trucks this age that you find are only one or two owner trucks. Only a Dodge man understands why this is and knows that Dodge trucks are truly the best of the three. I have owned all three and only kept this one this long. At 70 years old I am finally ready to let someone else enjoy it but will sure miss seeing it in the driveway. If someone locally wants it this week, I will tell them that they will have to wait for this auction to be over.(because last week I discontinued the auction when a local guy wanted it, but his wife talked him out of it because she didn't like it. She wanted him to buy a new one.(just like a woman--what would she say if I told him to go buy a new wife because she was 37 years old!)
