Up for auction we have a very clean and rare 1997 Nissan 200SX SE-R. The exterior is red with a dark gray interior. This car is all factory original and completely unmolested. There are not many of these on the road anymore and certainly not many in this condition that have had no aftermarket work done on them. It even has the original Nissan floor mats in the car. The interior of this car is CLEAN and in excellent shape for a 13 year old car. The pictures speak for themselves. This car has been driven by a non-smoking adult. This car has been well maintained since I've owned it with regular maintenance performed every 3,500 miles or so and to top it off this car still runs like a top!! The engine is still very strong and the clutch shifts perfectly. I would actually love to keep this car but I have a second child coming and was told by my better half that this is not an ideal family car with 2 kids. Over the past 2 years or so I have had the following services performed on the car: New alternator New battery New exhaust from the cat back New catalytic converter New tires Replaced engine gaskets Although this car is in very good shape, it is by no means perfect. Mechanically, the car will need a front end alignment to pass a MD inspection and cosmetically as you would expect there are the typical small dings, rust spots, nicks, and faded paint areas (on the side view mirrors) that come with a 13 year old vehicle. For the interior, the only flaw is a small hole in the driver side front floor mat. This car is excellent on gas mileage and is extremely reliable. The car has a power moon roof, power windows, and power door locks. Everything in the car works just as it did when I purchased it. I have never had any major mechanical issues with it. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. This car would be great for a new driver or someone looking for an unmolested SE-R to modify. The car runs excellent and I really will have a hard time parting with it. Down to the business. This is a no reserve auction. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early if the car sells. A $200.00 Non-Refundable Deposit is due at auction end via PayPal. I will ship the car anywhere in the United States. All shipping costs and any related costs incurred by me to have the car shipped are the responsibility of the buyer. The car will not ship and the title will not be transferred to the buyer until all costs have been paid by the seller and cleared the bank. I prefer payment by a certified check or money order but I will accept PayPal for the entire purchase price if the buyer covers the PayPal fees (an additional 3%). If you would like to fly in or take the train to pick up the car and drive it home I will be more than happy to pick you up from BWI airport (about 15 minutes from my house).
