This is an original 1978 F150 with 51,000 actual miles on her, this is the only thing my Papa ever bought brand new and he babied this ole truck and passed it on to my father and I. She truly is like part of the family but its a shame that she sits tucked away in our garage and gets driven only a few hundred miles a year if that. My Papa gave the truck to dad and I about ten years ago and we touched up around the motor and all of the original stickers are still there it looks like new its truly beautiful. The only thing that was done to the exterior was two small tinny tiny places behind the rear wheels well were touched up. We upgraded the wheels and tires but yes we do still have the original wheels and they still have the 2nd set of tires on them from back in the day. This truck has no rust in her what so ever it has sat inside of a dry building her whole life, the paint is still all original and still shines like new. I will repeat the the paint is original to the truck has never been painted! The paint has a few small chips in it nothing more than what would be done even today with regular road debris. Its only original one time! The interior is in perfect shape and yes its all original to nothing has been changed. You are not not going to find another truck like this one anywhere in the world in this condition with the miles and being an original truck. She is four wheel drive with a 4-speed with the granny gear powered by a factory 351 modified motor and she doesn't miss a lick and everything works. This truck runs and drives great! The truck isn't equipped with air, its got vent windows and they get the job done.
