1982 Suzuki GS1100GL. I have for sale a Bike for collector, daily rider or if need be Parts. You really would not want to use this one for parts. I picked this up locally from an individual. He needed money so I bought it from him. He said it run good. It does, not perfect but you can ride it ok. I have put in new spark plugs but have not tried it yet. This motorcycle has set in a garage for 10 years. It has been started every month or so during that time. I took this bike out for a ride yesterday. It is definately a keeper. The saddle bags are in good shape and are the orginal set that came with the bike when new. It also has a tour box. The bags need new locks. I bought one lock at true value hardware for $2.98 to see if it would fit and it did . It still needs 2 more locks if you want to use the bags and tour pack. It looks a lot better with them off( I think) I also have a set of Rear turn signals for it that you would need if you wanted to leave the bags of. I tested these on the bike and they work ok and look pretty good. It had a fairing, orginal but it was broken up quite a bit so I took it off, but if you want it ,its here. I put on a Halogen head light. and the headlight ears. The tach works, speedometer works all the instrument cluster works. The tires are 60%. I would not want to run this bike at full throttle with these tires but if you just riding to work or taking a ride they would probably be ok; You be the judge(its your Buttt) The fuel tank is a replacement. I had to ruin the lock because a key did not come with it. Its usable but no key. They are available on E-Bay most on the time. I put in a new Battery, put on a Headlight, replaced the fuel tank and have spent 2 weeks cleaning it up. I put new brake fluid in the brakes and the pads also are good. and they work. The seat is the orginal and is removed with the ingnition key It has some slight rust on the exhaust but will clean up with very little effort. The Mufflers are like new. Also some light rust on the sissy bar. I want you all to know, that I did not have to let you all know what has been done, but I dont want anyone to be cheated. If your funds are short, and you want a good bike cheap then this is it. With TLC This one will really look good. This 1100 engine is very strong. You really have to be carful on the gravel with it.
