Vehicle Detail
Welcome to my auction for my 1969 Corvette Stingray. I have always kept it in my garage and NEVER abused this Corvette. This Corvette came with a 350ci/300hp V8 and automatic transmission. As the pictures show, it has a blue interior and exterior. The paint does have some scratches that are visible in the pictures. The chrome rear bumpers do have pits in the chrome due to age although the front chrome bumper does not have as many. The interior loop carpet is in good shape. It is a little faded on the driver side near where your feet are and a little faded behind the seats. The rear t-top storage area carpet is nice and this area contains the t-top storage bags and the drop down storage area for the rear window that is removable. The center console that is under the parking brake has been broken from the seatbelts, as seen in the pictures. I have priced this console at Mid America Motor Works for $50.00. The door panels are in good shape. The driver side has a little damage on the upper corner nearest to you when the door is open and the passenger side has a small tear near the door handle. The dash has a crack on top on the passenger side. The steering wheel is tilt and telescopic. A problem for this style of Corvette has always been the vacuum system that controls the windshield wipers and headlight, but they work as they should. I had a modern Pioneer casette player installed years ago, but I believe I still have the original 8 track player that came with it, if you are interested. The Corvette has 75,384 original miles on the original motor, transmission and rear end, but the carburator is a after market Holley. It has Hooker Headers, but they are old and leak at the side pipes. The brakes are not 100%. I do not know what is wrong with them, but they are being looked at, possibly a bad caliper. My reserve price reflects the imperfections with my Corvette. I have a reserve below $10,000, but I am interested in serious bidders only as I am not looking at giving this Corvette away, but I will not refuse any reasonable offers. Please e-mail me with ANY questions. Thank you and good luck with bidding.
