1998 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG Mileage - 275,913 The car has been rock solid for me for the past year I have owned it. The C43 AMG's are known to be reliable and with a 4.3 liter V8 engine pumping out over 300 horse power, it is a very fun car to drive. The car came with rain sensing wipers as an option from the factory. This car has been religiously maintained with factory OEM products. I purchased the vehicle with the intention of fully restoring the car, so nothing that was installed was second best. I have however decided to go a different direction with my build and now putting the car up for sale. The following have been done/replaced within the past year (besides the regular the Mobil1 fully synthetic oil changes every 5,000 miles): refurbished air compressor - $400.00 new receiver dryer - $127.00 new temperature switch - $25.00 coolant flush - $45.00 brake fluid flush - $14.00 new oem c43 floor mats - $130.00 new front left brake line - $22.00 new front wheel bearings - $150.00 new cup holder - $56.00 new air filters - $126.00 new cabin filter - $42.50 new windshield - $310.00 new wiper motor/arm/blade - $150.00 new driver's side mirror motor - $70.00 new driver's side fog light assembly - $194.00 new rear door sills - $80.00 new passenger side radiator fan - $140.00 Parts alone add up to $2081.50 and that doesn't include labor. Here are the modifications that will come with the car: Exterior MHW all-red tail lights - $150.00 Headlight wiper delete Interior OEM SLK pedals - $55.00 OEM Illuminated door sills - $290.00 OEM Ashtray delete - $40.00 OEM Euro cubby - $20.00 OEM CLK door pins - $20.00 Brakes Stoptech stainless steel lines - $120 The car is 12 years old, so it does have rust spots here and there. Needs: the car could need a respray but not necessary - I had a quote for spot treatment of all the rust for under $500. wheels need balancing - there is a wobble noise at 47mph from the wheels being off balance. Also, the wheels have cosmetic blemishes such as curbs and such, but again it isn't necessary to refinish. there is a squeak in the rear (driver's side) suspension - I haven't been down there but it seems like its a sway bar bushing or a control arm bushing.
