1960 Austin Healey Sprite Bugeye, one owner for over 30 years. I bought this car from the long term owner 9 months ago in Seattle, Wa. where it had been stored in a commercial storage facility for almost 20 years. The long term owner brought it from Minnesota when he moved to Seattle but he said he never drove it in the winter and it shows very minor rust. The floor pans are solid but he bolted a 1/4 piece of sheet metal under each seat for support. The rear spring mounts are solid. The seats are not original and are heavier. You can see this piece of sheet metal in the pictures. There`s a rust hole on the bottom of the right rear fender big enough to put a pencil in and a few bubbles in a few other places in the body.The front bonnet is in very good condition with no sign of any collision damage. The left rear overrider has been bumped and pushed in the sheet metal in the rear but only a couple of inches. The drivers door was opened too far at one time and put a crease in the vertical sill and bent the edge of the door.There are no hubcaps or front bumper with the car. There`s a new tonneau and the soft top is usable but the rear window needs polishing. The sidecurtains are in decent shape.There is no ignition key with the car.The motor is free but I have made no attempt to start it. I had planned to make it drivable and bought some new parts that will go with the car. This is the list. new fuel pump $78.95 new master cylinder rebuild kit $12.55 new wheel cylinders for all 4 wheels $231.50 new clutch slave cylinder $44.95 this all add`s up to $367.95 The car is a good candidate to fix what`s needed to get back on the road and enjoy it and restore it later.The odometer shows 85305 miles and this might be original but I have no proof of this. The buyer is responsible for arranging transport of it can be picked up at my home, The car is sold AS IS with no implied warranty.
