This auction is for a 1968 Ford Galaxie XL 4 Speed Fastback, 390. This car is in excellent condition with many new parts including: tires, clutch, pressure plate, throughout bearing, complete tune up, distributor, rear shoes, rear wheel cylinders, front pads, front springs, front shocks, control arm bushings, rebuilt carburetor, all new rubbers (body, doors, trunk, glass), new windshield, rebuild kit for hideaway lights, headlight switch, rear air shocks, rear inner and outer bearings and seals (rear end), front blinker light lenses and rear light lenses and all new fluids (oil, 80:90 weight transmission, rear end, antifreeze and more! The original AM stereo has been replaced with a Kenwood AM/FM CD with 4 new speakers. The interior is black and in excellent condition. This is a factory 4 speed bench seat car with all original interior-as far as I know. The seats have no rips or tears, headliner has no rips or tears, and the carpet is in very good condition. This car does have AC unit, everything seems to be there except for belt-so I do not know if it works. This car has had 1 previous owner and was well maintained but sat for many years. This car drives really well. It is currently registered in NC and driven frequently. This is a great old car and almost ready for paint-needs minor prep work and paint. The car is currently in black primer, I believe it was originally candy apple red. Please ask questions, I am not an expert and this car is being sold as is with no warranty but you will not find a better example of muscle!
