Vehicle Detail
MERCEDES-BENZ 300CD TURBO DIESEL COUPE Purchased in 2008 and I am the third owner. I've had the vehicle for almost two years. My girlfriend and I use it to go on weekend trips to the beach and/or mountains or occasional Sunday drives. We just bought a house and need to downsize. I replaced the aluminum wheels with the older style steel hubcaps. I personally like the look better. Sometimes the car shifts hard and does not downshift properly (a local Benz dealer told me that it is a minor vacuum issue). The rear windows are sealed but do not go up and down properly (the motor for the windows is still good, but the bracket is bent). Sunroof opens and closes perfectly, NO LEAKS. The vehicle will pass inspection when due. I put about 2,000 miles per year on the vehicle. The motor and turbo are strong. No overheating, no leaking oil. Inside cosmetically this car is average. It isn't perfect, there are a few cracks in the old plastic and leather seats. Outside cosmetically this car looks fantastic, it's been weather proofed underneath and has a new coat of paint. If you have any further questions, please call me at (717)940-6048. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Thank you and happy bidding! On Sep-08-10 at 08:02:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I just set the reserve to $601.00 so after the next bid, this will be a no reserve auction :). I am getting a lot of interest, and the old lady wants it gone. Here is your chance to get a great buy!!! [Also I thought I was the third owner, E bay says I'm the 5th, sorry for the confusion]
