black 1969 corvette with 427 and 390hp. 4 speed with original motor, numbers matching. just had the engine rebuilt and bored 40 over, not even 200 miles on it since it was rebuilt. Inside and outside are in great shape. T-tops come off and back window comes out. There are only a couple of scratches on on the car and body is real nice. Headlights go up and down and wiper cover goes up and down. All numbers match and car runs fast, even without having it bored 40 over it was a screamer, now it throws back in your seat when your going 70 and punch it. I dont want to sell it but Im moving to a condo and only one covered parking spot. Also, Im interested in making a trade. I have this vette and a 1967 convertible 327 350hp, a 1995 ZR1 yellow with 5,000 miles, a 1995 pace car corvette with 11,000 miles, and a 1987 monte carlo ss with 1,200 miles. It still has new car smell with only 1200 miles and over 20 years old, cherry burgandy with glass T-tops, original tires. I would be interested in trading all for 1 real nice car or boat. If anyone would like it faxed to them please give me a call. Overhaul engine block, hot tank block, installed set of rod, cam bearings, set of pistons and rings, bore the block 20 over, valve job, resurface and and machine work, new crank shaft, fit crank to existing block. Bearing surfaces cylinders were bored to .030 over size to correct cylinder taper and out of round block was hot tanked to remove all contamination. Shop fitted replacement crankshaft and camshaft to engine block install new pistons and connecting rods and new rings into block. Installed correct oil pump and pick up screen in block and clearance pick up screen have cylinder heads re conditioned installing new components supplied by customer. Prime oil system and adjust valves start engine adjust timing to 4 degrees which was the specification for a 390 horse power 427 in 1969. carburetor linkage installed correctly and road tested. Replaced the starter and battery. total cost 5,251.19 This was done with 08/13/07 and with 68,044 miles. Thanks and if you would like a copy I can fax it to you. Marty 941-322-0990
