I am selling my 1985 Vanagon Westfalia Weekender. I replaced the original 1.9 motor with newly rebuilt 2.1 liter. This is a great upgrade if you need to get up hills at a safe speed. This vanagon has less than 100,000 miles on chassis and transmission and less than 1,000 miles on new engine built by Volkers VW & Porsche service in Santee, CA. Absolutely no rust. New heavy duty custom bumpers front and rear that are rhino lined. This Vanagon came with 14 inch steel wheels that I upgraded to 14 inch alloy wheels with heavy duty tires for correct load rating. Recently had interior redone with new upholstery. The cooling system was completely upgraded due to the different type of cooling system on the 1.9 motor. The dash board has the typical cracking on the passenger side. I have the original mosquito cover for the rear and also comes with vehicle bra. all curtains are in good condition and do not need to be replaced. I was going to purchase a dash cover but never got around to it. Paid for new paint, but it did not come out as expected (not show room quality). Selling my Weekender because I am upgrading to a Syncro. Vehicle just passed California Smog test.
