Beautiful Leather interior with no holes or rips – very clean. The paint is in very nice condition but there is a small pimple on the hood. The Car spent the majority of its life in Florida so rust is not an issue but the is one small rust through under rear lower quarter panel. and a couple minor bubbles on the car.An elderly gentlemen purchased the car in Florida and bought it to Michigan then had over $3800 of recent maintenance performed on the car to make sure it was in top driving condition, but then became very ill and the car has not been driven much over the last several summers (it was stored and covered at all times in his heated garage and sold very recently by his estate. The Low 55,110 mileage is correct. The Florida history and maintenance and cleanliness make it an excellent investment Jaguar. This is by no means a show car it has minor dimples and a couple minor scratches commensurate with it's age. The seats are very good, the Dash is perfect, It has a beautiful Momo style Steering wheel with the Jaguar emblem, The woods are in good shape, the Carpet is clean. The top is in good shape with no rip or tears or cuts ( the rubber trim surrounding the rear window could use some adhesive in a couple of corners). The Jaguar spoke wheels really set the car off quite nicely. The engine bay is very nice as well. Clean Vehicle history, and Clean title in hand. Getting lots of questions like Why have you priced your car $6000 - $7000 under what others have for Low mileage XJS Convertibles . Short answer is The mileage is correct, and the car runs very well and sits on expensive wheels but because the car has not been used over the last two years it will need a some issues addressed. Oil drips not 100 % cured but will probably improve with usage. The Passenger window and the convertible top switch are not working (jaguar switches are notorious for going bad but I have not tried to trouble shoot but I have had 5 or 6 of these and that is generally the issue) The headliner could use replacement. I drove the car back to my place over 40 miles in stop and go traffic and it ran great stayed cool on a 95 degree day this summer. I lifted the carpets in the trunk and the Metal is completely rust free. I lifted the carpets in the car and there is no rust. The Seats are above average. The dash is crack free and the woods are very nice. The car is a good driver and looks good I just I want the new owner to know that this car could be made to be concours quality but yes I have it priced way under value because she will need tlc. The great thing is she turns heads just the way she sit. Inspections are always welcomed and encouraged. The12 cylinder engine is smooth running and the transmission shifts excellently.
