this auction is for one 1964 international harvester SCOUT 4x4 in working driving condition, we dont know much about the vehicle, it was left behind after purchasing some land, the condition is nice, the engine/transmission, work, and does not smoke has some minor oil leaks, mostly likely, seals, caskets, it is a slanted 4 cylinder, has manual transmission on the floor and it works, we drove the car around the yard, brakes okay but could use a once over saftey check, it seems all is present nothing missing, there is NO rust or body repair, may have original paint not sure, there are some dents (see the photo of drive door), the glass is all there and in good condition, see photo of windows, below are numbers from the engine compartment tag, scout 80, FC89041A, WB100, Cert HP "86hp-at 4400 rpm, Gross HP "93hp at 4400 rpm, max GVW 3900lb (tag in last photo) please ask questions, and I will post and update as required, we welcome and encourage physical inspections, we are 15 minutes from major airport and will accomodate pickup if it works with the work schedule this is truck is sold as is, no warrenty, buyer responsible for title transfer, and everything else once the transaction is complete to make road worthy, the vehicle needs restore, or a few weekends, to make road worthy, like brakes, belts, hoses, typical stuff after a vehicle has not been on the road a while, we've had it for about 14 months, not knowing what to do with it, so now were selling it, we have the CLEAR Arizona title in our name to be transfered, note1: other years in title to increase ebay search option note 2: we do not know the correct mileage, grill water bag in photo, not included in the auction note 3: recommend to trailer home, NOT road worthy at this point for safety issues email supersize21@aol.com phone, 480 857 2106 day time work number (please ask for chris) On Sep-10-10 at 20:41:03 PDT, seller added the following information: added Sept 10 so many have emailed, and several have looked at the vehicle for sale, at this point to be fair to all bidders and the ebay process, the auction will not be ended early, nor the reserve disclosed, various persons have provided their offers, which are all close to or over the reserve which should be hit within the next few bids, therefore, please bid what you are willing to pay, and the high bidder will take the car once the reserve is met, Thank you so much for all the interest and many emails, also, during the starting and test drive during one of the viewers, the starter bendix stopped working, the starter turns but, does not engage into the motor, we pulled the starter today, and will either have repaired or replaced, which ever is the easest, hopefully before the auction ends, but either way, it will be repaired for the new buyer. sorry for the inconvenience, but as mentioned in the ad, the car does need stuff, it been sitting for 14 months, also, we found out that prior to the vehicle being brought to Chandler arizona, it was driven from southern california with no mechanical issues. if there are anyother questions please ask, we will monitor the auction and email until the auction end, to ensure we asnwer all inquiries. thanks again
