This is a 1985 Corvette, with a 4+3 manual overdrive transmission, 206,000 miles (60k miles on rebuild), Tagged and registered until 11/16/2010. I bought this car last week with the intent of spending approximately $1500, on paint, weatherstripping, and minor interior work ($800 on paint, $350 on weatherstripping, and $350 on interior miscellaneous). But unfortunate circumstances forces me to sell. (for less than I bought it for, if it be.) All of the lights, gauges, headlight assemblies, and power seat work good. This was a daily driven car, and very reliable. Needs: paint (lots of chipping), weatherstripping (does not leak), stereo hooked up or fixed, interior work (drivers seat tear (at seam), rear hatch strut, door speaker grille, lock knobs, rear hatch door button, etc.), passenger window switch or motor, and could use some rear tires. The lady I bought it from got this Corvette from her elderly Uncle, and started to give this to her son, then decided it was too much car for him. (This car is Very Fast!) She had put a lot of new parts within the last few years, in order to get it smog legal (apparently it was a "gross polluter" and the state of California gave her $900 to fix). She also stated that her Uncle had completely rebuilt the engine at about 145k miles. It runs very strong!!, but could probably use a tune up (plugs, wires, oil change, etc.) and some adjustments. I have driven this corvette a handful of times around town and freeway, and it runs great, without any issues. Lots Of Power! As I mentioned... I was going to fix it up and sell it for at least $10,000. So please bid accordingly. I may have left some things out, so please ask as many questions as possible.
