Another hard to find vehicle from Mountain Valley Motors, LLC.
This is a 2000 Crew Cab Short Bed 4x4 Chevrolet K2500 pickup truck. 2000 was the last year for the classic body style and this was the only crew cab truck offered by GM in 2000. This is a one owner truck that is in spectacular condition for the age and mileage. It is powered by the legendary 5.7 liter (350 cu. in.) small block engine and backed up by the bullet proof 4L80E automatic transmission as well as a 3.73 gear ratio locking rear differential. This truck has the LS trim package with power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise, tilt wheel, tinted windows, automatic rear view mirror with compass, AM/FM/Cassette/CD sound system and push button 4wd. It also has a matching Leer hard tonneau cover and a rubber bed mat. This truck was obviously not a work truck. It still has plenty of life left.
History
This one owner Chevrolet K2500 was manufactured in November of 1999 and first registered in February of 2000. It has been registered in the State of Maryland ever since. This truck has a clear and clean title history with no accident records or other problems to report on the Autocheck and Carfax reports. It has obviously been very well maintained by the previous owner.
Mechanical
This truck runs and drives very nice. The mileage doesn't seem to have affected this vehicle much at all. The engine runs great with all of its original power. The transmission shifts crisply with no slipping or hesitation. The tires have at least 75% tread left. The brakes are good and stop this truck firmly with no vibration or pulling. The air conditioning blows ice cold. The check engine light is not on and there are no other warning lights illuminated. This truck has many new parts including new brakes, new alternator, and new fuel pump and has been fully serviced with all new fluids and filters. The underside of this truck is clean and dry with no leaks or rust to speak of (see pictures). This truck is Virginia State inspected and is ready to drive anywhere.
Exterior
This paint on this truck is all original and in good condition. This truck has never been in any accidents and there are no repainted areas. There are some minor cosmetic imperfections that you might expect on a truck with this mileage but overall it is in very good condition. There are a couple small door dings scattered around that I could not get to show up in a photograph. There are also some light surface scratches in the bed sides and on the edge of the roof.(see pictures) There is also a small ding on the front bumper(see picture). The valance that goes behind the front bumper is cracked and part of it is missing on the right hand side. (See pictures) The inside of the bed is in very good condition with a rubber mat to protect it. The tonneau cover does have some touched up chips and small scratches. Other than these minor things, this truck looks much like a new one. I would rate the exterior an 8 out of 10.
Interior
The interior of this truck is nice and clean as well. The seats and carpet are very clean with no major stains. There are no unusual or offensive odors. This truck has not been smoked in. This truck comes with the owners manuals as well as three keys and one remote. It also has the spare tire jack and tools. I would rate the interior a 9 out of 10.
