For sale is my is a 1974 Dodge Challenger. I bought this car over 7 years ago from a friend who did a total restoration 20 years ago. At that time the engine was replaced with a 340 and rebuilt along with the trans. At that time he put on headers, edelbrock performer intake and carb, a new interior which included a new headliner, new professionally recovered black velour seats, front and back, with new carpet. He also rebuilt the front end suspension and new quarter panels. The car has power steering and brakes, it is an original air cond. car but does not have the components under the hood. This car has the rally dash, center council, craiger wheels and Goodrich T/A tires. I purchased the car to do a complete restoration. 7 years ago I started with pulling and flushing the gas tank, putting in a new sender unit, front shocks, went through the brakes and bearings and put a new mufflers on. The engine runs good and does not leak or smoke. It had a few electrical issues when I bought it. I fixed most of them caused by a faulty alternator. I had it rebuilt and put a new voltage regulator and electronic ignition unit. The tack does not work nor does the turn signals. The paint job is about a 15 footer. The pictures shows the issues. Under the drivers floor pan is a 2 inch by 3 inch rust hole. The car is stored in my hangar for the past 7 years, started regularly but not driven. I had the intention of doing the restoration but have tooooo many projects so it must go. I encourage anyone to come see the car and ask any questions. The floor of the trunk is solid. I believe it has a slap stick console so as you shift up gears, it locks to the 2nd then 3rd gear so you can't skip a gear or go into neutral. I have been driving it around the airport. The brakes work great. Steering is fine. Trans shifts smoothly. Brake lights do not work. Accelerates very quickly.
