I purchased this beautiful SE from the Mercedes dealership in Hagerstown, MD in March 2003, with 9400 miles on it. I've driven it from April to October for the past eight years, and it's just gone over 25,000 miles. There have been no significant repairs, it's never been in the shop longer than an hour, and it's in great shape. Like the other 2,999 British racing green 2001 SE's, it has a six forward speed manual transmission, wood Nardi steering wheel and shifter, tan leather interior, reclining bucket seats, special floor mats, alloy wheels, power everything (except seats), special badging, foot plates, and gas cap cover, power antenna, Bose sound system with CD player, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, power windows and door locks with keyless remote entry. What this car has that you won't find on most 2001 SE's are the following: tan leather-covered roll bar, trunk lid liner with three storage pockets, new Mazda car cover in original carton, custom Miata roll-up windshield sun visor, special Brg claddding on the sides, four Kumho low profile tires with less than 4000 miles of wear. The car passed Massachusetts state inspection in April, 2010. It has always been garaged, summer and winter, and stored properly from November through March. It has a couple of very minor scratches in out-of-the-way places, and one extremely small , practically invisible crack in the lowest part of the front bumper. It's just a lovely example of this model, and only advancing age (mine, not the car's), persuades me to part with it. I'll release the car to its new owner upon certified check clearing with seven business days of sale. Buyer will be responsible for arranging and paying for shipment, if desired.
