THE "SURF RAT" (1966 BISCAYNE 2dr POST Race Car) was found in Tenn about a year or so ago,a friend and i bought the car and were going to play with it @ some nostalia Drags but have'nt had time to do anything with it so here it is FOR SALE..@ a STEAL!! NO reserve!! The 427 that this car raced many years ago is long gone,but it has a strong running 396 (cast#3902406= 1967 396) in it now,and a turbo 400 trans w/stall converter thats shifts perfect..The rear end is a big 10-Bolt,3.73 gears.. Still has the old school M/H slicks on reverse wheels on the rear and 4in Cragers on front. This was originaly a 6 cly car,as most factory backed Race Cars and Dealer Race Cars were stripped down 6 cly cars since they were the cheapest to buy and make Race Cars out of them back in that time era. There are time slips (in the car)of 12.90s and 13.0s in a 1/4 mile in 2002 and 2003 @ ATCO RACEWAY in N.J. The "Surf Rat" is ready to go racing or Whatever you want to do with it,,we have even driven it to a couple local cruise nites (and WOW WHAT the ATTENTION GETTER!!)(we put some straight pipes on it to quiet down a little)..This car is still in very good condition,only some minor surface rust areas, all orig body panels and Body straight as an arrow,floors and pans solid as a rock.
