Vehicle Detail

** Bidders must have positive feedback. Zero and negative feedback bidders will have their bids canceled unless they come to see the vehicle in person first. ** ** If you are serious and do not have a Paypal account, if you come see me in person and look at the car then we can complete the exchange without using Paypal for the deposit and I will end the listing after the transaction has been made. Sorry, been screwed over too many times on auctions by non-paying bidders. ** ** Priced to sell, not because of problems. I will not go lower than this auction even if I have to continue relisting. Blue book on this car is over $20k.. this is *priced well below even fair condition*. This is already a rock bottom price considering the condition of the car and the low mileage. ** ** I reserve the right to sell this car locally before the auction ends. ** ** Ebay is reporting an odometer discrepancy that is not true. I have a clean CarFax in hand from a year ago that I will include that shows there is no mileage alteration. Also, if you go into the details for it here, it shows that the discrepancy is only 647 miles and all within a 1 week period of time. This appears to be due to the mileage reported to the DMV in Ohio on 9/2/05 when it was registered, as the mileage reported to them exactly matches the mileage of just a week prior. They simply reported the mileage to DMV as the mileage at purchase time instead of the extra 647 miles that happened over the course of that week. Nobody would bother to take the time to roll back just 647 miles. This information is also shown in the history report on this auction, feel free to judge for yourself. There was NO odometer rollback and the current mileage is accurate. For sale is my Torch Red 2003 SVT Cobra Convertible. I am the outright owner of the vehicle and have title in hand, so no having to deal with paying a bank loan off during this transaction. The only reason for selling the car is because I also have a WRX that I want to start some upgrading on and two sports cars are simply too much to maintain. Being in New England, the AWD WRX takes precedence with the winters we see. The only current mods are a BBK Cold Air Intake and a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. I have the stock air intake still and it will be included with the car. There is very minor chipping (1mm x 1mm "dots") of the paint on the front of the hood from normal driving that isn't at all noticeable unless you get very close to it (within a foot), and there is a very slight ripple in front of the passenger side rear tire well, again almost impossible to see unless you get very close to the car and actually looking for it. It's in the picture and video and you can't even notice it's there. I couldn't even get an angle that would show it in a picture, that's how minor it is. I'm just trying to be up front about what I know. Other than that, the car is immaculate. I bought the car with both of those minor cosmetic defects, I do not know their origin. I myself have never even driving the car in the rain since I bought it. The interior looks like it just came off the dealership showroom floor, and this is no exaggeration. I've never eaten, drank or smoked in it, and never had dirty shoes getting in or out of the car. I dare you to find a better, cleaner interior on any Cobra you look at. The convertible boot is also included. The car is completely mechanically sound. This car does not exhibit any of the problems with the head that some do and has no overheating problems. Temps are solid in the normal range and there are no oil or coolant leaks anywhere in the engine. The engine compartment is clean. There is no pinging or knocking in the engine at idle or under load. The car has not been beat on since I've owned it. No drag strip or track time. The car drives straight and shifts crisply and cleanly. There is absolutely zero play in the shifter in gear or moving between gears. Very crisp and precise shifting is an understatement. I'm replacing parts and bushings left and right in my Subaru WRX trying to get it shifting as cleanly as this car does. The top goes up and down without hesitation or misalignment. The alternator was replaced in the last 3000 miles. It's the most common problem with the Cobras due to the motor over-spinning the stock alternator. One less thing you'll have to deal with. The supercharger shield is also included and already reinstalled (picture of pre-CAI install shows how it looks). I had the supercharger shield removed in the engine picture that shows the BBK because I was planning on doing a 2.8 pulley swap to up the boost, but never had it done. I've already put it back on. You can see what the supercharger shield and stock intake looks like in place in the picture before I put the BBK on. It was just 3 quick small bolts on the front of the engine, a 5 minute job at most and it didn't have anything to do with touching any other part of the engine, functional or non. The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires, all 275/40ZR17. The tires are virtually brand new and have less than 4000 miles on them. They're also the more desirable unique tread pattern. The car has never seen a burnout since I've owned it. The picture included is only to show the tread pattern. It is not the actual tire on the car. These tires are over $1000 for a set even if you buy them online, and are all balanced on the inside of the wheel so that you see no balancing weights on the wheels. This car turns heads everywhere. If you get on the gas, everyone will look. If you stay in low RPMs, the low V8 growl still draws a smile when you drive it. Don't let "Flowmaster" scare you. The car is not obnoxiously loud by any means. Snag this low mileage Cobra and enjoy the end of your summer in style! I am a personal seller and therefore do not offer any warranty. I encourage you to come look at the car in person if you are within reasonable travel distance. You will not be disappointed. Buyer must contact me within 48 hours of auction ending to make payment and pickup arrangements. All sales final.
