Vehicle Detail
This is a one-owner vehicle.Truck is very sentimental to me,but,is starting to require some maintenance that I'm not able to provide. Most of my pictures will provide basic answers.Vehicle does need to be painted again. The light blue color was painted back in 1995. Dark blue has been touched up on the lower areas. The front fender wells on both sides where 3 bolts hold a metal plate on for access have rusted out. There is some rust spots starting to show up on the passenger side above the rear wheel area as you can see in a picture provided. Some rust starting to pop up around the door areas on both sides.Otherwise, the body is in good shape for its age as you can see by the pictures. The interior is in very good shape as you can see from the pictures. The dash has cracked in a couple of spots. I added chrome wheels to it in 1997, but, I still have the original rims with the chrome rings that will go with the truck. In 1997, I had a new GM Goodwrench engine put in it. The original motor was a 305 and I went up to a 350.I also bought a new carburetor when I changed the engine over. Everything else is original equipment. The air conditioner has been changed over to the 134a freon when the compressor had to be changed. The actual miles on the 350 engine is right around 55,000 miles. The truck has rolled over in total miles. The motor is in good shape except for the valve covers leaking some oil on the exhaust manifold. The tires have less than 500 miles on them.I might add for anyone interested, the transmission is the one that doesn't have overdrive in it. Recently,I put a new heavy duty starter on it. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.
