I am offering for sale my 1964 Chrysler Newport. I bought this car on e bay two years ago and have had a blast driving it. It has 24,734 original miles on it. I bought it from a dealer in Massachusetts who had taken it in trade from the original owner in Maine. The dash board gleams like a new car. It runs smoothly. I have added a drop down air conditioner, and replaced the headlamps with new halogen lamps. The seats are solid with no tears. I haven't found any rust on the body, and the engine looks great. The paint appears to be a repaint in the original color. It looks good, but there are a couple of thin spots on the trunk. The chrome has only very minor pitting. The headliner does have one hole, but it is completely concealed by the driver's side visor. The radio works, but it needs a new antenna....you can buy one for under $10. The carpet looks good, but it does have some stains on the passenger's side where the A/C leaked. I have had the leak fixed and the carpet shampooed. The rear dash is faded, but it doesn't affect the car. This car has a 361 V-8 engine. It isn't a pristine show piece. It's just a nice classic for someone who wants to drive. This car could be used as a daily driver if you wanted to use it that way. This vehicle has a clear Louisiana title in my name. I will have it notarized for the buyer.
