Burgundy exterior with tan cloth interior upholstery. Non-smoking owners, no pets. No rust. Regular maintenance performed with service records available. Over the years, major maintenance always done when needed including radiator, A/C, gasket/lifters, brake rotors, front seat springs. Runs very well and is capable of long distance loaded travel. NYS emissions sticker good through 9/12/10. Features a very loud and clean professionally installed sound system: Alpine removable faceplate head unit w/ single CD and pre-amp outputs to trunk-mounted JL Audio amp, AUX input cable hidden in glove box for playing your iPod/etc. through the stereo, Focal high-end separates in front doors and Focal 6x9s in rear deck. Stereo was $1,800 new. Includes Bridgestone Potenza tires mounted on Volvo Virgo alloy 5-spoke wheels w/ matching chrome lugs; Bilstein premium HD shocks front and rear, a great option when loading up this car; Volvo frame hitch receiver with trailer light hook-ups; fitted Volvo tan plastic floor trays and matching Volvo front center arm rest and head rest inserts. The manual crank sunroof works and does not leak. New fuel pump. Recent oil change. Air conditioning works and was converted to the newer technology. (I can research details on this, but think it may be non-CFC consistent with 240 models produced in later years 1992, 1993.) Not sure how to estimate life of tire treads but my mechanic advised that they would be fine for another couple years, and I drive with family on board. Several small exterior dings as expected with a car this age, see photos. Glass in good shape with no cracks and only one scratch, not deep, about 2 inches long in drivers side window, see photo. Lights and turn signals work, with slight wobble in left headlight and small crack in right turn signal assembly, see photo. Interior plastic parts have some cracks as expected with a car this age, in particular the driver door map pocket and the center console/emergency brake housing - both are hard to notice in my opinion and do not affect functions. Currently needs tail pipe/muffler replaced from catalytic converter back, about a $300 standard repair. (Car can be driven as-is, it is just a bit louder than normal since the last segment of tail pipe after the muffler has been removed. The muffler is working but is not in good enough shape to save/repair, and the "cat back" exhaust replacement is a typical part that all Volvo mechanics are familiar with and can order/replace easily.) Odometer stopped working in early 2010 so actual mileage is approximately 200,000 not 182,799 as stated in listing and as shown in photo (that's just where it stopped turning). Two minor accidents worth noting. One was a rear-end fender bender that popped off the trim above the bumper and caused slight buckling in rear driver side quarter panel; nothing structural, as verified with my mechanic. We chose not to have the trim and quarter panel repaired, see last 3 photos. Second was a motorcycle collision with the driver door, low down, causing a scratch/dent of a few inches in the door panel. This was completely professionally repaired and no evidence of it can be seen and door works completely normally, see photo #5.
