MZ (MuZ) Saxon Tour NRX500 Rotax -- one owner, stock -- This MZ Saxon Tour with it's Rotax 500cc 4-stroke single engine is probably one of the more functional and reliable motorcycles ever manufactured. It is also to many, a very beautiful machine. MZ's are very popular abroad, as a quick web search will show. Still, there are many fans in the USA. Parts are readily available. The Rotax 500cc is acclaimed as on of the finest single stroke 4 cycle engines ever made. (Rotax engines have ben used in BMW motorcycles, ultralight airplanes, personal watercraft (Sea-Doo) ATVs and all kinds of other machines.) This 1995 model is one-owner, stock, garage kept and meticulously maintained. It has 10,000 easy miles on it. All service records are available. It is mechanically perfect and has very few cosmetic flaws. Basic specifications are 320 pounds (dry), 4 valves 4-stroke single cylinder engine, 5 speed gear box, single disc front brake, rear expanding brake. It has both an electric start. In addition, it has a kick start with compression release lever. I have put a modest reserve on the auction. Please don't hesitate to email me with questions.
