Vehicle Detail
This is a really nice motorcycle.....It has been restored with nearly everything rebuilt, replaced or refinished...the engine, transmission and differential have been rebuilt...Look at the pictures carefully and you will be amazed at how nice everything looks, and the quality of the work. Mileage is 29089.. All the identification numbers match... I do not know what the mileage was before the restoration....I believe the restoration was done in 2003 and the bike ridden very little since. The bike has the keys for the ignition, fork lock and tank lock.. Serial number is 640286 (all matching ) The bike comes with a signed Pennsylvania title and a huge stack of parts invoices...The previous owner spent a small fortune on this bike ( I added up the invoices ) Some of the nice things that have gone into this restoration are: The frame, front-end and swing arm professionally checked and straightened as needed (GT Enterprises) The frame and front-end parts have been powder coated. The Differential has been rebuilt and resealed. The engine and transmission have been polished. Deep oil pan installed, stainless steel plug with magnetic drain plug, silicone lifetime gaskets installed. The bike has a stainless steel bolt kit, other nuts and bolts have been either cad plated or replaced. A full rubber kit installed, including grips and peg rubbers. The cables have all been replaced. The ignition switch has been converted to a key style switch (Rocky Point Cycle) The voltage regulator has been changed to a solid state regulator. New handle bars (Magura) new risers and controls installed. All new bulbs and gel battery installed. (2010) Brakes rebuilt using all new parts and new linings. New steering head bearings, swing arm bearings and seals. New exhaust system complete, including finned exhaust nuts. All new wiring harness, including new brake switch and bar controls. New fuel petcock, lines and filters. New Carburators, Yes, both carburators are new not rebuilt. Air cleaner Chrome plated. Speedometer rebuilt New Valve covers. Engine and transmission rebuilt. (Speed's Cycle) Heads rebuilt. (Bench Mark Works) I did not do this restoration, I bought it this way..... in a few ways..the bike is over restored...(the posishing of the cases, and the key style switch.). but the original style switch can be replaced and the cases roughed up if the new owner wants this.... I kinda like it...it's a real nice bike.... I just have to many nice bikes and need to clean out the shop some... Thanks for looking..
