Vehicle Detail

The first H/O to be built entirely by Oldsmobile Division. It was the only GM A-body to offer a 350 V8 in '79. White and black again were the color choices, but with a wider choice of interior trims than ever before. Gold paint covered the hood, most of the top, and the very rear of the trunk. The aluminum wheels were also painted gold, along with the grille. At $2054 for the conversion, it was the most expensive H/O ever, but even so, sales held steady at 2499 units. This nice Hurst/Olds is very clean inside, out and underneath. Vehicle runs and drives excellent. Options are: power windows, power door locks, power steering, A/C, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, rear defrost, AM/FM Cassette, power antenna, power trunk release, bucket seats, center console, Hurst Dual Gate shifter. This car has 143,845 miles however it has been restored by the previous owner and shows no signs of its mileage. The car is equipped with a rebuilt Oldsmobile 350 manufactured in 1969. The engine has its original #5 heads it was equipped with back in 1969. It is a factory 4bbl engine which made 325 HP from the factory. This car also has an 8.5” 3:42 rear axle from a 1987 Buick Grand National making the rear axle very strong and able to handle the engine’s power. Transmission is a performance replacement TH350. The following parts were installed new during engine installation: carburetor, fuel pump, fan clutch, water pump, power steering pump, power steering pressure hose, valve covers, intake, engine mounts, transmission mount, A/C pressure hose, Hedman hedders, Pypes dual exhaust w/ X-pipe, Jegster dual exhaust transmission crossmember, rear brakes, rear wheel cylinders, rear shocks The installation is neat and clean and no “hacking” has taken place. Original drive train is fully functional and included with the sale of the car. I am the second owner of the car. Car is originally from Long Island New York. Lots of paperwork restoration pictures and receipts. The issues are as follows: poorly touched up scratch on quarter panel, headliner has indentations in the foam, sunvisors fall down a little at a time when driving over bumps, gold paint chipped on edge of header panel near hood. Lower interior door panels near armrest are slightly pitted looking but are not faded. Car is for sale locally so auction can be ended at any time. Seller has disclosed any known issues with the vehicle and seller assumes no responsibilities for any problems found after sale. Vehicle is sold as is. Deposit of $500.00 is required within 24 hours of auction ending. Full payment is required within 7 days of auction ending. Full payment can be made by Paypal, Bank Check, U.S. Postal money order or cash in hand.
