1995 BMW 740i. 137.890k mileage. Runs, but a parts car. This car suffers from the Nikasil BMW engine defect... I have had the car checked by 2 independent BMW specialists both saying the engine needs to be replaced. Other then that, the car is great. I am the second owner and I treated this car like a child. Never smoked in, cleaned/waxed every weekend. The leather interior is beautiful - it is hard to believe this car is 15 years old by the way the interior looks. I installed clear turn signal lenses, and 5500k LED Umnitza Angel Eyes. Both catalytic converters were replaced 800 miles ago, the radiator has less then 1000 miles on it as well. It is leaking Antifreeze, and needs a new windshield washer fluid line. Brand new brake pads. A/C doesn't get cold the clutch is seized, but it gets hot in the winter. All 4 original 17" factory wheels plus full size spare rim/tire. Tires have less then 1k on them. Passenger side mirror is cracked. Sealant between chrome window guards and door panels needs resealing from sun exposure. Sunroof works like new in both positions, no squealing at high speeds. Very comfortable seating for 5. Driver and Passenger heated seats work great, all seat repositioning buttons work as well. Driver side electronic door fuse needs to be replaced. Currently, one cannot open windows, or adjust mirrors from the drivers side door panel, as the fuse inside the panel needs replacing. All Pixels on both dash and center console displays work. All computer run functions (eg gas mileage, trip time, speed sets, date/time adjust, phone settings, range) display and work. Engine compartment is very clean. New Hi/lo radiator hoses. The car runs but you can tell it has maybe 6 months with the engine... it hesitates from takeoff, and shakes a little when in drive while stopped (from the engine problem). I wish I had the time to sell this car part by part because it is great condition inside and out... no body damage other then a few clear-coat scratches, some rear bumper rash, front bumper rash. One almost invisible 2mm circular indentation on the drivers side bottom right quarter panel - only visible close in direct sunlight. New Ball joints in front, struts in front and rear. Front and rear cup holders, although front ones need a fitting to solidify the 2 piece binding. If i had the money to put a new engine in I would in a heartbeat... it truly is must-see car. Great car for BMW specialists, restorers, collectors in need of parts. Pristine other then engine interior. Buyer responsible for all shipping/pickup charges.
