Body and undercarriage is excellent with no service engine lights glowing. A/C is working with R-134. My research of the 1991 Fleetwood coupe production numbers through the Cadillac Club site indicates this is an extremely low production unique automobile with production numbers quoted below: Production Statistics: Fleetwood 4Dr Sedan 12,979 Fleetwood 2Dr Coupe 894 (Coupes: Slate Gray 2, Dark Slate Gray 20, Medium Slate Blue-Gray 38) Of the numbers above, this means this 1991 is either 1 of 2, 1 of 20, or 1 of 38 made based upon paint color. Whitewall 15” Tires are like new, and they are mounted on 1995 Cadillac DeVille chrome aluminum wheels. Headliner is original with no sagging and leather seating is in excellent condition! READ CAREFULLY …. NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS ON THE CAR. On July 22, 2010 the car was taken to what I believed was a GM certified dealership for service to correct two problems with my newly found treasure here in Morgantown,WV (University Motors Limited on Don Knotts BLVD). The left turn signal cancel cam was not cancelling the left turn signal when completing a turn, and a slight hunting of idle speed at rest. They indicated that they had the expertise to run a diagnostic on the car for $95.00, and would call me with 1.5-2.0 hrs after leaving the shop to state what the diagnostic equipment and service personnel would estimate the repairs to cost. One week later no estimate or contact on what was the problem. I decided to remove the vehicle from their service facility, and they agreed to reduce the shop time charges to zero after I attempted to pay the $105.00 bill they were asking which later was reduce to zero after I gave them poor verbal feedback. What I didn’t know was that when I attempted to drive my car home, the car now ran so poorly my top speed was 20 mph with no power up hills and backfiring. It was obvious a completely nice running car now became lawn art. Catalytic converter was destroyed and the 2nd shop I took it to found the dealership had incorrectly replaced the plug wires screwing up the firing order by reversing the #2 and #7 wires. Monro muffler installed another catalytic converter and returned the car to the correct firing order. Car would still not return to proper running condition, so I returned it to University Motors as a last attempt to explain the damage done to my car by their service department. I returned the car to their service facility, and they had it for two more weeks, and were stumped and unable to repair my car to running condition that it had before taking it into their service facility. It acts like it is not firing on all cylinders yet fuel pressure is in range. I am taking a large loss on the car, but I am selling here at a low price to move on with my life with less stress. GM Customer Service will not provide assistance with my claims as they had dropped their GM franchise with the dealership 6 months to a year ago. My service report invoice still shows the Cadillac and Chevrolet logos, but the dealership did not provide customers with a disclaimer stating they were no longer operating under GM. I only discovered this when I gave them my initial poor service feedback and the service representative responded that it was sort of ran under the table with no announcement. The Dealership owner told me that GM dissolved their relations with his dealership stating that he was selling Toyotas of which GM did not want to jointly conduct business with. Bottom line…you are buying a car that will may need engine work, electrical diagnosis, or pop in a another engine. The car does not leak fluids, starts right up with no problems, makes no internal engine sounds. It will start but after it warms up will not move under its own power. Not knowing what dealership mechanic did to car leads me to say that you may have any easy fix to get it running right or may need to swap engine. Car will be equipped with original am/fm cassette radio, and comes with all the service records detailed in the history above. It will need towed. I will be retaining the new battery in the car for my other vehicle. Also the dealer accessory referred to as Cadar (Cadillac radar detector) will not be sold with the car. I always heard the Cadillac 4.9L engine was better than the later Northstar 4.6L. I guess if you are talented at trouble shooting you will have a real dandy collector car to enjoy! Car is sold "as-is" with no warranty, payment within 7 days, no PayPal accepted. A $200 deposit is due within three days of auction end. Bidders with zero feedback will be removed unless prior contact is made with buyer to show commitment to buy/follow through with transaction. Interested parties may contact Barry at (304)292-9750 evenings to discuss any questions you may have about the sale of this car. I am not interested in trade, nor will I sell individual parts from the car. You must take the whole car. Car must be picked up from my location no later than two weeks after auction end. Please save this rare garage kept car! Car is located in Morgantown, WV 26508 just 1.5 hours south of Pittsburgh, PA.
