Vehicle Detail

** Priced to sell, not because of problems. I will not go lower than this auction even if I have to continue relisting. ** ** Ebay is reporting an odometer discrepancy. I'm not sure why they are, as I had a clean CarFax a year ago. Also, if you go into the details for it here, it shows that the discrepancy is only 647 miles and all within a 1 week period of time. This appears to be due to the mileage reported to the DMV in Ohio on 9/2/05 when it was registered, as the mileage reported to them exactly matches the mileage of just a week prior. They simply reported the mileage to DMV as the mileage at purchase time instead of the extra 647 miles that happened over the course of that week. Nobody would bother to take the time to roll back just 647 miles. This information is also shown in the history report on this auction, feel free to judge for yourself. There was NO odometer rollback and the current mileage is accurate. For sale is my Torch Red 2003 SVT Cobra Convertible. I am the outright owner of the vehicle and have title in hand, so no having to deal with paying a bank loan off during this transaction. The only reason for selling the car is because I also have a WRX that I want to start some upgrading on and two sports cars are simply too much to maintain. Being in New England, the AWD WRX takes precedence with the winters we see. The only current mods are the BBK Cold Air Intake and an American Thunder exhaust. There is very tiny chipping (1mm x 1mm) of the paint on the front of the hood from normal driving that isn't at all noticeable unless you get very close to it (within a foot), and there is a very slight ripple in front of the passenger side rear tire well, again almost impossible to see unless you get very close to the car and actually looking for it. It's in the picture and video and you can't even notice it's there, just trying to be up front about what I know. Other than that, the car is immaculate. I myself have never even driving the car in the rain since I bought it. The interior looks like it just came off the dealership showroom floor. I've never eaten, drank or smoked in it, and never had dirty shoes getting in or out of the car. I dare you to find a better, cleaner interior on any Cobra you look at. The convertible boot is also included. The car is completely mechanically sound. This car does not exhibit any of the problems with the head that some do and has no overheating problems. The top goes up and down without hesitation or misalignment. The car drives straight and shifts crisply and cleanly. There may be an aftermarket short shifter installed because of how cleanly and precisely it shifts, but if there is it was done before I purchased the car. There is absolutely zero play in the shifter in gear or moving between gears. I haven't driven any other Cobras so I can't be sure as to whether it was upgraded or not. I just know that I'm replacing parts and bushings left and right in my WRX trying to get it shifting as cleanly as this car does. The alternator was replaced in the last 3000 miles (it's the most common problem with the Cobras due to the motor over-spinning the stock alternator). One less thing you'll have to deal with. The supercharger shield is also included. I removed it (only 3 quick bolts) because I was planning on doing a pulley and tune but never got around to having it done. It has no affect on function or performance, so saves you 2lbs of weight! You can put it back on in 5 minutes if you really want to, or I can do it before you pick up the car. The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires, all 275/40ZR17. The tires are virtually brand new and have less than 4000 miles on them. They're also the more desirable unique tread pattern. The car has never seen a burnout since I've owned it. The picture included is only to show the tread pattern. It is not the actual tire on the car. These tires are over $1000 for a set even if you buy them online, and are all balanced on the inside of the wheel so that you see no balancing weights on the wheels. This car turns heads everywhere. If you get on the gas, *everyone* will look, and even if you don't, the low rumble still draws attention. Snag this low mileage Cobra and enjoy the rest of your summer in style! I am a personal seller and therefore do not offer any warranty. I encourage you to come look at the car in person if you are within reasonable travel distance. All sales final. Reserve just lowered to the same as the Buy-It-Now, so it won't go cheaper than the Buy-It-Now. Blue book on this car is over $20k.. this is *priced well below even fair condition*. This is an insane steal considering the condition of the car. ** Ebay is reporting an odometer discrepancy. I'm not sure why they are, as I had a clean CarFax a year ago. It's so minor I can't even get a good shot of it to show it. I didn't even notice it until after I bought the car, that's how minor it is. It's tame at idle and low RPMs and cruising, so don't be afraid that the car will be too loud or will get you pulled over. If you get on the gas hard, though, *everyone* will look. Snag this low mileage Cobra and enjoy the rest of your summer in style! I am a personal seller and therefore do not offer any warranty. I encourage you to come look at the car in person if you are within reasonable travel distance, you won't be disappointed. All sales final.
