1998 Volkswagen Jetta 1.9L TDI (Turbo Diesel), gets up to 48 miles per gallon, nonsmoker, Runs great I bought this car from my dad back in 2005. He bought it because he wanted to convert it to run on vegetable oil, but he never got around to it. I believe he purchased it a year earlier from a dealership and he told me there was only one previous owner. I love this car and its great gas mileage. It has traveled all over the upper Midwest as I've lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Montana. It recently made a 1200 mile round trip, so I know it runs great. The only reason I'm selling it is that I need a bigger vehicle for more passengers. Excellent car for someone who has to drive long distances on a regular bases. You won't have to stop for fuel very often. The body has rust. I've covered over most of the body rust with resistant automotive paint. You can see the repair job when you are close to the car. Under the car, there is also I'm still driving this car, so the mileage listed is an estimate. Features include: 12.00 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE A few issues the car has is rust that is underneath, around doors, and miscellaneous other spots on the body, a rusted hole in rear driver side floor (you can see it on the picture. I put a ruler up to it so you can see it's size). The trunk leaks, there are dings and nicks on the car's body from pebbles and rocks, two nicks from rocks are in the windshield (this happened a few years ago and they have not spread), the cigarette lighter doesn’t work because I broke it while installing the radio, I think it might just be the fuse, but I don't know where the fuse is located, the washer fluid doesn’t spray, this isn't an expensive part, but I haven't gotten around to replacing it, the horn doesn’t work, the back bumper is damaged, and the speaker wires are loose in the back. Sold AS IS. We live in Northeast Montana, but we are willing to bring it to Williston, ND to be picked up.
