1983 Suzuki GS

1983 GS 1100 Bike is the best looking GS I have ever seen( paint near perfect). well worth the money, I honestly thought I would get $4 G s ( economy is killing a lot of old school bike ) Bike is champagne silver I have been told some early 1983s went out of the factory with the silver bodywork, but have no way of knowing, but bike seems to be original and numbers match The gauges were replaced with a rebuilt set that had 7600 miles, they look new, old set had a few glitches. There is no rust on any metal parts, bike has clearly been garaged in its life I have been upgrading the bike for three years with no money spared, the best that could be done without takng away from the original feel. Motor stock with vintage Kerker 4 into 1, Carbs completly rebuild,new nos clutch( work was $950), Carbs and clutch have less than 1000 miles on them. Motor in excellent condition, no need to mess with it. Works Race shocks, Corbin seat, steel braided lines, new chains and sprockets, New tires( Metzler and Dunlop) less than 1000 miles. Gs 1150 rear wheel, and front end, 1992 GSXR front brakes. 1988 Katana Rotors. I put the 1150 front end on, because I wanted the gsxr brakes for extra stopping power. the old forks were in good shape and anti dive system worked fine. Much more to talk about, $ 6500. invested. Have all original parts that will come with the bike. Also I relized that I did not say that bike can be returned to original excellent condition with the exception of NOS dual exhaust bike came to me with 4 into 1. Have original seat, complete front end, rear wheel etc. I am sure I am forgetting a few things, have many parts that will go with the bike, it is likely worth $3500 in parts alone, I may do that soon.
