Here is a 1966 chevelle that needs to be finished. car was not bad when I started this project but I don't have the time to finish.This car has a 350 that runs nice has a nice sounding cam with a little lump to it. (was already in car when I bought it.) it has a turbo 350 trans with a 10 bolt posi. I think they are 373 gears. Car was originally red from factory and red interior. No console and has shifter on column. Buckets are not original but they are short backs. I believe it was a basic V-8 chevelle convertible (283 with a power glide) and now has a different motor and trans. I drove the car for 2 months after I bought it then it went to a buddies body shop where it was for a job fill in. 4 years later I now have a demanding job (a lot of hours) I don’t have any time to even think of finishing it.here’s what was done to it since it went to body shop. New full quarters and new door skins, trunk was nice and did not need replacement. Inner quarters had some rust so those are all new. Rockers had a little rust so that was all cut out and replaced. Floors were nice so we did not do anything with that. Surface rust from carpet and I was gonna sandblast then paint it por paint to seal it. Trunk was sprayed at the body shop with a sealer paint also.I was gonna spackle it after. The frame is in very good shape and needs no repairs that I can see. (unusual for these cars). I am selling it because I don’t have time to finish it. I could use the extra money right now also. This car could be driving in one weekend of work. Just put some fenders on it, the new ss hood, bolt the seats back in it and put the convertible top back on. That’s it done drive it. Or you have one hell of a jumpstart to redo the car, all the hard work is done every thing left is bolt on and paint. my buy it now is very reasonable just look at the ones that are basket cases and look at the finished ones. It is for sale locally so don’t wait till the end of auction or it may be gone. If I don’t get my buy it now 13,500.00then I will send it back to the body shop and have them just put it back together and in primer but then the car will be back on ebay with a much higher buy it now.
