Cheap on Gas!!!! Must Sell, Wife Pregnant, Title on Hand. I’m a Serious Seller, Check out my perfect Feedback… 1998 Volkswagen New Beetle Sport with OEM base carrier bars and 2 OEM Thule Bike Holders. This beetle has been driven with care, and is in decent condition. The exterior body and paint are in good condition, except for some minor bug stains in the front bumper and hood, the alloy rims look good also. The interior is nice and shows a bit of wear for its age, but still looks clean and straight except for the headliner witch needs to be fixed. It has a 6 disc CD changer, and good sound system. Cruise Control and Power Windows work perfect. New battery, New Tires and new wheel bearings were installed about 6 months ago. The A/C stopped working 2 months ago and I couldn’t afford to check that. It also needs a new set of rear brake pads but, that’s only a few bucks; also the driver side lock needs to be fix. The other known problem is that the check engine light goes on and off. Took the car to the shop and they informed me that the water pump is failing. Otherwise, the car runs and functions like very decent, perfect for a teenager who wants to fix these little things and show off in school.
