You know you've always wanted one.. Here is your chance to buy one of the nicest examples of a classic Toyota 4 Runner found anywhere. The Legend Lives! THIS IS THE ONE TO HAVE!! A modern day classic, this is one that's clean and comfortable enough to be used as a daily driver (which it has been for my wife for 2 years). In fact, I've owned a '72 FJ40, an '84 FJ60, an '86 HJ60 (Euro, diesel), even a 2006 Rav 4 --- This is the most versatile, practical, capable (can climb trees), and trouble free Toyota of them all! I look for the best I can find when I buy any vehicle and this is NO EXCEPTION! Even the underneath is beautiful! Dealer installed exhaust, Completely garaged kept when we found it, only ever serviced at a Toyota dealership here in Gallatin TN. Any maintenance issues were addressed before they became problems, even the timing chain replaced by the dealer at 76k miles! Yes you can spend less for this year 4 Runner but I would put this one up against any bone stock 4 Runner in the country. No vehicle I've owned ever got as ice cold,, as quick,, as Trucky (my kids name for him!) The AC is outstanding! And the coldest winter morning is easily tamed by the powerful heat. It will steam you out. You actually wind up turning the rear heat system off and removing your jackets, just amazing for any vehicle never mind a classic '94 Toyota. The engine and smooth shifting transmission are legendary Toyota tough and dependabe! Every light works wonderfully, and main 'upgrade' I've made to Trucky is HID headlamps. These babies light up the road. If you'd like me to take a .jpg of it at night just let me know, I'd be happy to. Windows go up and down like they did when brand new,, even the tailgate which is operable from inside the truck or outside with key. Door automatically locks when raising and unlocks when lowering. They just don't put these thoughts and functions into new vehicles,, and this classic LOOKS AND WORKS LIKE NEW! Park this on a slab of concrete and you'll see another amazing feature of this truck. NO LEAKS! No oil, or transmission, or brake, or power steering, NOTHING! Thanks to the previous owner (and myself for continuing) ongoing preventative maintenance. Only item that doesn't work is the cd player. It is lit up but no music, someone told me there may be a cd stuck in there. Rest of stereo works fine, including the cassette player! From the flawless interior to the remarkably dent free exterior, you'd have to consider this in near mint condition. It is an urban grocery getter for my wife but if we ever travel the dusty curvy backroads of TN, this is the truck we use. Parallel parking is a snap, this turns on a dime. If you are from Arizona and looking at this truck, or Oregon, or Alaska, or Maine, or anwhere else I would not hesitate flying in and driving it home. I am confident this will go wherever you want to go. Tires are at least 80% and the brakes stop great. The wonderfully functioning rear seats allow you to flip forward, one side -- the other -- or both, if you wanted to pull over and catch some rest or if travelling with your pets. Put this thing in 4WD and it forgets about going to the grocery store and turns into a BEAST! It will effortlessly get you out of whatever you got yourself into. Shift to L1 and you'll think you're in Busch Gardens. It will crraaawwll. I encourage you to research and look for similar Toyota 4 Runners anywhere. Talk to 4 Runner owners, past or present. Investigate the various 4 Runner forums on line. They'll all tell you what you may soon find out. There is not a more versatile, capable, dependable,, and especially fun vehicle built than the 4 Runner. Whether you're looking for a classic Toyota for everyday use, or a truck you can build up for heavy off road use, a safe and reliable Toyota for a family member, or just a capable 4WD truck for work or play, you will not be disappointed in Trucky! While none of these are Nascar vehicles this easily cruises at 85 mph or more, straight as an arrow, with no shake or vibration.
