Up for auction is this 1986 Honda 250 Rebel. This is a solid bike with only 5740 actual miles. It starts easily and the runs good. The engine sounds good with no strange noise and does not smoke. The transmission is good too. No strange noises and shifts smoothly. All the lights and instruments function just like they should with no problems. The tires have good tread, at leat half tread or more.This bike still has the factory tool kit with it. Cosmetically the bike looks good. It has some small scratches and chips. There is surface rust on a few items like screw heads and the like. There is a little rust on the rims that should clean off. The crankcase has been repainted at some point and it wearing off some. The exhaust pipe have the usual discoloration at the engine end where the heat is.The seat is in good shape and the paint is pretty good too.I think the pictures represent the condition. It is what I describe as good original condition. It's easy to ride and runs good and is dependable. It hauls two people just fine. Pre-sale inspections are welcome.
