Vehicle Detail
Here for your consideration is a 1971 Ford Cobra Torino. I bought this from the original owner two years ago. This was a graduation present to him by his Grandfather in 1971. They ordered the car new. It has always been in NC. As you can see, it needs a total restoration, but they fact that it is so complete makes for an easier job. It has rust in the trunk, lower quarters, door bottoms, and the hood. I have an extra hood that is included with the car. It was ordered with 15" Magnum 500 wheels and has the same spare in the trunk with the original jack. The trunk mat is in excellent condition. The car was parked early in 1976 because of gas prices( imagine that). It still has the 1975 plate on it. It has bucket seats, console, floor shift automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, AM radio, and factory air conditioning, and let's not forget that RAM AIR shaker hood scoop. This car is untouched under the hood. It even has all the paper tubing at the heat riser and vapor canister. The engine is the 351C which became available on the Cobra in 1971 only. Buyer is responsible for moving this car. It can stay here for up to 60 days. Thanks for looking. On Aug-18-10 at 16:37:48 PDT, seller added the following information:I want to answer an important question from an ebayer by adding to the description that the cowl does leak, but I have a 100% rustfree cowl assembly that is complete. I bought this from a southwestern dry car, and it is perfect for the repair needed in this case. I will include the rustfree cowl with the car. I do also have the door panels for the car. The left one has a cut in it. The floors have some minor holes that will need to be repaired, but total floor replacement is not required.
